Scott grew up in Brooklyn Park and Maple Grove, Minnesota, where his early interests in art, engineering, and finance helped shape the way he thinks and works today. He was drawn to Guardian Resources because of the firm’s integrated approach to financial planning, estate planning, tax strategy, and investment management. Scott believes in surrounding himself with people and organizations that are exemplary in their craft and life, which made Guardian a natural fit.

Outside of work, Scott enjoys being present with family and friends, whether that means spending time in the city or enjoying the peace and quiet of nature. Many people may be surprised to learn that he has a lifelong background in fine arts, including painting and drawing. His creative eye and thoughtful approach help him bring both discipline and perspective to his work. Scott also has his first car, a 1991 Camaro RS and that has evolved considerably from that time; this is testament to his long-term vision, continuous improvement, and passion for building. All of which translates to the focus and care he gives to his clients.
