Melissa Lombard Chief Operations Officer

Melissa Lombard serves as Director of Operations at Guardian Resources, where she helps turn vision into reality by creating the structure, systems, and accountability that allow both people and organizations to thrive.

With a passion for leadership development, organizational excellence, and continuous improvement, Melissa works closely with the leadership team to strengthen culture, improve processes, and ensure the firm is positioned for long-term growth. She is known for her ability to bring clarity to complexity, build high-performing teams, and help individuals maximize their strengths and potential.

Prior to joining Guardian Resources, Melissa built a successful career in real estate leadership and operations. She also spent several years serving overseas with her husband as a missionary in Turkey and Germany, an experience that deepened her commitment to service, personal growth, and helping others achieve meaningful impact.

Melissa believes that great organizations are built when talented people are empowered to do what they do best. Her work focuses on creating environments where both team members and clients can experience confidence, growth, and success.


Outside of work, Melissa enjoys traveling, hiking, Pilates, trying things for the first time, and is always reading at least three books at any given moment. Outside of work, one of her crowning achievements happened a few years ago when she won a blue ribbon in the Minnesota State Fair in the category of decorated sugar cookies.
